Add and subtract vectors

Trigonometry

When vectors are added, the sum is called the resultant and can be represented with a single vector.

To add/subtract vectors < a, b > and < c, d >, add/subtract the components:

< a ± c, b ± d >

Subtracting one vector from another is the same as adding the opposite vector.
