Mean

The mean of a set of number is the average. It can be calculated by adding all the numbers in the set, then dividing by how many numbers there are.

For example, the mean of the set {1, 3, 5, 7} is 4, because (1 + 3 + 5 + 7) ÷ 4 = 4
