Regular polygons

Geometry

A regular polygon is a convex polygon where every angle is congruent and every side is congruent.

To find the area of a regular polygon, you can use the formula A = ½ · a · p, where a is the apothem, or the altitude of a triangle made from the figure and the central angle and p is the perimeter.
